Self Storage started life in 1997 as a subsidiary of the Eurofleet group. We identified
a gap in the market where existing providers, mainly the big plc's, were delivering
in general a poor service, at expensive rates. If an enquiry did not fit into
the corporate rulebook a Customer was left high and dry. Our goal was, and still
is, to deliver the highest standards of customer service to our customers for
whatever it is they have to store. This philosophy has proven successful over
the last five years, as the business has grown, and will continue to do so while
we focus on the most important issue in our business, and that is serving the
customer better than any of our competitors. In 2007 we opened our second site in the Essex mainly to provide better value for money for those of our customers who required long-term storage at very attractive rates by storing outside the London Metropolis. Saving of up to 40% can be achieved and our Essex site is proving very popular indeed in particular to householders and the domestic market.
